Community Involvement
Playing an active role in the community is very important to me and I donate my time, ability and money whenever possible. As a Real Estate Broker in Raleigh, I feel fortunate to live in an area with many activities, organizations and fund raising opportunities to get involved with. Whether it’s a 5k charity run or sitting on committee boards, these activities are not only a great way to meet new people but to have a direct impact on your local community.
Participate in several 5k charity runs each year.- Organized a food drive at RE/MAX One for the Food Bank of NC. - 2007
- Sponsored and played in Lynnwood Grills’ 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. - 2009
- Prevent Blindness NC –“A Little Night Vision” Committee Member - 2008, Co-Chair – 2009, Committee Member - 2010
- Participated and raised funds for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team in Training (TNT). Raised $1,675 while training for a half marathon. – 2008
- Currently training and raising money for LLS – TNT while training for a full marathon. – 2010
- Sponsoring and playing in Lynnwood Grill’s 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. – 2010
- As a RE/MAX Agent, a portion of my sales go to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network
